Colors of Music III features chamber music performed by members of Temecula Valley Symphony and includes Silent Woods for Cello and Piano by Dvorák, Howard Hanson’s Serenade for Flute and Piano and The Shepherd on the Rock for Soprano, Clarinet and Piano by Schubert.
This intimate concert is an annual favorite and provides the Symphony’s Principal Musicians an opportunity to perform solos or in mixed ensembles.
Other programmed repertoire includes selections arranged for Brass Quintet, Howard Hanson’s Serenade for Flute and Piano, and Divertimento for Flute, Clarinet, Viola, Cello, Piano, and Percussion by John Musto.
