2023 10-23 Youth Symphony Concert @ Murrieta Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Oct 23 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

The Temecula Valley Youth Symphony is excited to present our Fall Classical Music Concert, on October 23, 2023 – our first official full concert for the 2023-2024 season! The concert will feature the Junior Youth Symphony under the baton of Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann.  They will be performing some wonderful classical music such as Themes from Scheherazade, and Barber of Seville.  Along with the Junior Youth Symphony, the concert will also feature the performance of our Youth Symphony with Dr. Zun Hin Woo conducting pieces such as the Mozart Classic Overture to Don Giovanni, and Toccata by Girolamo Frescobaldi. In addition, we will have a combined performance from both groups of Handel’s Overture to the Royal Fireworks! Come join us for a wonderful evening of connecting and enjoying the music from our young, talented musicians!

Holiday Concert with Special Guest, Sherry Williams @ Temecula Valley High School, Golden Bears Theater

Swing in to the Christmas season! The Temecula Valley Symphony under the baton of John Mario Di Costanzo, will perform a Holiday Concert featuring jazz vocalist, Sherry Willams singing selections from her Christmas CD, “A Very Sherry Christmas”. The symphony will also be performing holiday favorites. We’re also delighted that our very own Temecula Valley Youth Symphony will join us on several selections! Also performing with the Symphony: the Temecula Valley Youth Symphony!

2024 – Winter Gala @ Pechanga Resort and Casino
Jan 27 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Our 1st Winter Gala with Honorary Chairperson, City of Temecula’s former mayor Matt Rahn will be held in the beautiful setting of the Eagle’s View Ballroom at Pechanga Resort & Casino. There will be a delicious dinner with a silent and small live auction. It is our major fundraising event of the year and promises to be a fun evening! Recommended attire is dressy, casual.

Colors of Music – Chamber Concert 2024 @ St. Thomas Episcopal Church

Musicians from the Temecula Valley Symphony perform works for small chamber groups. The program will feature works by Bartok, Ibert, Piazolla, Schubert, Beeftink, and Copland.  You’ll hear a wide selection of music from sophisticated to whimsical.

Join us for an evening of Spring Themed Classical Music performed by the talented students of the Temecula Valley Youth Symphony on Monday, March 11th, 2024 @7:30 pm. The concert will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Temecula, and feature classical music such as Vivaldi’s Spring, Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Ponchielli’s Dance of the Hours, and more! We look forward to seeing you there!

2024 5-20 TVYS Classical Concert @ Murrieta Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church
May 20 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Please join the Temecula Valley Youth Symphony for our final concert of the season the evening of Monday, May 20th at 7:30pm.
This concert will feature all of our wonderful Youth Symphony Students performing various Classical Works Such as Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliette Overture and Vaughan Williams’ English Folk Songs. We will also be highlighting several Violin Soloists, including Madeleine Sleeper and Katya Cross, our Youth Symphony Concertmasters and graduating seniors performing Vivaldi’s Concerto for 2 Violins, as well as Emma Avalos and Samantha Gausepohl performing Bach Concerto for 2 Violins.
It is sure to be a delightful concert by our Youth Symphony students, and we invite you to come enjoy the music and support our talented young musicians!
