Youth Symphony Artist Spotlight! #2

We’re pleased to present you with a spotlight on our wonderful student, Madeleine Sleeper” 

Madeleine Sleeper has been playing the violin and studying privately with Ms. Janis Fuhr for eight years. She served as Concertmaster of the TVHS Chamber Orchestra for three years and is currently Concertmaster of the Temecula Valley Youth Symphony. She has a 4.6 GPA and is President of her school’s National Honor Society and Orchestra Club. Madeleine is a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient for her program “Orchestra Summer Peer Tutoring” which occurs every summer break at Miyamoto Music Studio teaching fifth grade and middle school students how to play violin, viola, cello, and string bass. She earned the Maestro Award at the WorldStrides San Francisco Music Festival as well as numerous Superior and Outstanding Performance ratings participating in local SCSBOA Solo and Ensemble Festivals. She enjoys playing in local wedding gigs and with her peers out in the community at senior citizen homes. Madeleine plans to continue playing her violin in college while studying Public Policy and Law.
