We’re pleased to present you with a spotlight on our wonderful Student Community Outreach Ambassador, Sofia Latapie!
Sofia Latapie has been playing the bassoon for six years and enjoys performing in the orchestra, as well as managing and performing in the wind quartet. She maintains a 4.6 GPA and is enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program at Great Oak High School. Sofia also serves as President and Editor in Chief of the Great Oak Gazette, Social Media and Outreach Coordinator for the City of Temecula Youth Innovators Internship Program, and was the top performer on her school’s Academic Decathlon team. She is a member of the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society and French National Honor Society. Sofia plans to continue playing the bassoon throughout high school and college, where she intends to study history, public policy, and law.
